Rythu Bandhu is a special scheme to empower farmers to boost their productivity in the most effective manner. The scheme was introduced to ease the burden on the farmers, who are in dire need of a supportive mechanism, which will be beneficial to them in improving their income as well as to break the cycle of indebtedness. The government is providing assistance to the farmers, who need a loan to get their farm operated.
This scheme is developed in the following manner:
The scheme aims to provide the farmers with the required investment support to boost the productivity of their crops. The support is provided in the form of grant to purchase the needed inputs like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc. in order to increase the yield of their crops. The amount of investment support is Rs 4,000 per acre per farmer.
